Kids Bed In A Bag

There are also kids bed in a bag sets available for an instant room transformation. We are all probably familiar with the grown up version of this convenient product. But just for the heck of it, I will list the typical contents of such an item.


Each set actually does differ depending on the manufacturer, so it is important to read the contents of what is included in the particular set that you are interested in. Usually - but not always the following items will be in the package:

• a comforter or duvet cover - This is important because there is a BIG difference between the two items. A comforter is that quilted type thing that is stuffed with polyester fiberfill or batting (usually the comforters in a set are NOT filled with down). A duvet cover can best be described as a pillowcase to go over the comforter that you already own or that you need to buy separately. A comforter will keep you warm - a duvet cover will not. 
• a sheet set - This usually is a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and one pillowcase for a twin set or two for a full, queen, or king set. Again pay attention to the number of pillowcases and the size of pillow that they cover. A king set will typically come with two king size pillow cases. 
• The following items tend to vary -
• sometimes a dust ruffle will be included
• occaisionally a window valance will be part of the deal
• a decorative sham, in addition to the standard case in the sheet set, may make an appearance

While a kids bed in a bag may seem like a good value on the surface - it is important to figure out if you actually need all the items that are included within. Sometimes you may only require one or two pieces and buying them separately may save you money in the end.
