I have four children, the three oldest are boys, and my youngest is my only daughter. Needless to say - I had a lot of girly things to catch up on when she came along. Princess Aurora was one of those things - I truly had no idea who she was. A good friend had to fill me in on the details - "Oh - she is Sleeping Beauty!" I didn't know she had a "real" name - go figure.
Anyway - Aurora turned out to be one of my daughter's favorite princesses. After all - she is the pink one. And anything that is pink goes. Luckily, there is a lot of bed sets, comforters, sheets, you name it in this pattern.

Pictured here is a gorgeous comforter set that I have not seen before. The colors and pattern is very subdued - so even older girls will enjoy it. There is always that awkward time where some children have decided that princesses are for babies - while others still love them. Not wanting their friends to think that they are toddlers - they reluctantly give in to peer pressure. I hate to see this phase end because that means my baby is growing up. So she can have her princess bedroom just as long as she wants - it is fine with me!

Decorations for this theme include just about anything that is adorned with sequins and jewels. Tiara's, clothing, even Barbies make the cut. This more general background can be accented with more specific decor that can be changed as quickly as tastes change.
