Tinkerbell Bedding

Tinkerbell bedding is the stuff of dreams when it comes to little girls. There is something magical about princesses and fairies that makes that stage so endearing. Personally, I love the idea of a fairy bedroom theme over a princess theme because I think it is more long lasting. Eventually many children will outgrow their fascination with the Disney characters - but a fairies are definitely more versatile and if done right can continue on into middle school.


When it comes to dressing up the be there are tons of options. Amazon has a good selection, but the Disney Store at the mall or online is a good resource as well. Pictured here is a kids bed in a bag that includes a comforter and a sheet set. But there are many individual items available as well.

The popular color scheme for this pattern is purples and greens - which is a welcome alternative if pink is not your daughter's cup of tea. Also throwing in some gossamer, shimmery fabrics on the room accents will spice things up a bit.

The vinyl clings pictured here can easily dress up a bare wall without damage. But another idea is using paper flowers or strings of broken lei's as a unique border. My daughter once received a round canopy that hangs from the ceiling as a gift - it had long flowing netting all around. I believe it was purchased at IKEA and while I am not sure if the exact item is still available - it would be a whimsical way to dress up a play area or book nook.
